The cruise is intended for all types of classic, modified, rare, or custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles. There is one major rule during the cruise - No Hot Rodding! This is intended to be a fun, family cruise so we hope you appreciate our zero tolerance policy for the safety of the cruise participants and public. Any violations will be reported to the Police.

Route For Port Edwards Fun Fest Cruise

Welcome to our car and motorcycle cruise. All proceeds  will go to the Boy’s and Girl’s Club Of Greater Wis. Rapids, Area.

We will stage at 4PM on Aug. 14th on Edwards Ave. (Just South Of The YMCA) facing West and we will depart on our cruise at 6 PM SHARP! Cost is $10 night of cruise or $5 preregistration. Preregistration should be sent to Julie Beaton, 40 Market Ave. Port Edwards WI 54469.

First stop will be at Edgewater Senior’s Home for a 15-25 sec. stop and go so the seniors will get a chance to view our cars. Then we will restage on 4th st and head to Hwy 54 going to Wis. Rapids. We will be crossing the River View Express way Bridge  going East past River View Hospital, then past Home Depot. going East on Co. Trk. “ W “ to 64th st. We will turn Right on 64th st heading South to North Park Road where we will turn Left and follow this along the lake until we reach Co. Trk “ U “ where we will turn Right and cross the bridge going South to South Park Road turning Right. We will go past the Co. Park to 64th st. where we will turn Left heading South to Griffith Ave. We will head South on Griffith to Hwy. 13 where we will turn Left onto Hwy 13 going to Hwy.13/ 73 where we will turn Right onto Hwy. 73 going into Nekoosa. After the Bridge we will turn Left on Market going through town to Cedar st. where we will turn Right and head to Cranmoore Rd. turning Right going to North Section st. and turn Right on North Section going back to Market st. We will turn Left on Market to Hwy 54/73 heading North to Hwy 54 going back to Port Edwards for the Movie in Domtars Parking lot just south of the YMCA for the movie Bullit.

We Will Have a Police Escort the entire route and Hot Roding Will Not Be Allowed, You Will Get A Ticket !!

MOVIE:

Friday, August 14, Dusk:

The movie being shown is Bullet. The theme will be a drive in theme. We're working towards a low power radio transmission so people can stay in their cars and listen to the audio right on their radio!

The movie will tentatively be shown from the Domtar parking lot, at 2nd Street and Edwards Ave. Like the old drive in movies, popcorn and refreshments will be served.

CAR SHOW:

The car and motorcycle show will take place on 2nd Street. The street will be closed to accomodate the show vehicles. There are street trees that provide some shade, so this will be a great place to show off some great cars.

The trophies this year are completely unique.

In cooperation of River Cities Public Access TV, a DVD video of the car and motorcycle show events will be available for $15.00. Order forms will be available during registration check in.
